DIGIMAT Assistive Technology Platform
DIGIMAT Assistive Technology Platform is based on advanced HTML5 video standard implementing a native browser based Assistive Technology extension module using Javascript to support watching video lectures without playing it, and continue to watch the video with the help of Moving Thumbnails and Video Subtitles. This facility enables the user to watch the video in low internet bandwidth situations and also in watching the full video without listening to the audio. Features include automatic movement of video thumbnails, zooming of subtitle in big font size and auto scrolling of subtitle text in Indian Languages. Students with Learning disability, hard hearing, visual impairments will be highly benefited using this Assistive Technology Platform.
